Dear Medical Interpreter Community,

After careful consideration, NBCMI has decided to no longer publish Hub-CMI and CMI credential numbers as a list in the public registry. This decision was made as a security measure to protect our members from fraud, identity theft, and other potential misuse.

However, credential numbers will remain searchable when looking up specific individuals. CMIs and Hub-CMIs can still be verified using this method.

We will continue to publish the interpreter’s name, credential type, expiration date, and city/state/country to confirm their certification status. If you need an interpreter’s certification number, please contact the individual directly, as it remains accessible via the NBCMI website.
